Community Activities The Club supports and maintains a presence at many community events such as the Montgomery Rodeo, The Farmer’s Market and the Montgomery Fun-Fest.
Crawford House Through various activities including yoga and dinners, our members extend a helping hand to this halfway house for women recovering from chemical dependencies.
Food Pantry Each month the Club collects items of greatest need as requested by the Pantry.
Girl's Career Institute The Club sponsors a girl finishing her junior year at Montgomery High School or a nearby school to attend a three-day career information program at Douglas College
Handcrafts Club members meet to socialize and work on the State Project (knitting or crocheting Purple Hats for infants) or to work on a project of their own.
Scholarships This group reads the scholarship applications from college-bound seniors and meets with other civic organizations to interview the applicants. We award two scholarships each year.
Literature Group Each month this group meets to discuss books chosen by the group members. We welcome new participants. A second group meets two evenings a month with the women of Crawford House.
Lunch Bunch Members, when available, get together to socialize over lunch at a local restaurant.
In addition, the Club gives financial support to various community service groups.
The club is also helping to collect can tabs for the Ronald McDonald House to help support their cause. The tabs may be taken and put in the collection jar located at the Mary Jacobs Library.
