The Montgomery Woman’s Club is a service organization with a mission to provide opportunities for education, leadership training and community service – enabling members to make a difference in the lives of others. We are part of the NJ State Federation of Women’s Clubs (NJSFWC), the largest volunteer women’s service organization in the state. The Montgomery chapter will fulfill this mission in 2017 by providing two $1,000 scholarships (one general and one to a student entering the medical field) and a STEM scholarship to a young woman studying science, technology, engineering or math. In addition, two citizenship awards are presented to Montgomery High School graduating seniors. We also sponsor a girl from Somerset Country to attend the NJSFWC Girls Career Institute leadership development program held on the Rutgers University campus. Our members make and share dinner several times a year with the women of Crawford House, a halfway house for women, located in Montgomery Township. We volunteer to work as needed at the Montgomery Rodeo. Support from the Rodeo is very important in sustaining our scholarship program.
We meet the first Thursday of every month at 6:45pm at the Otto Kaufman Senior Center 356 Skillman Rd, Skillman, NJ 08558 (unless otherwise specified)...check out the "Meetings" page or call Jane Lavoie, President at (908)-359-6153 for more details.
